Introducing Pixel+: The Enhanced Youwind Experience

We have recently launched one of our biggest updates so far and we’re excited to show you our new module Pixel+, the solution for early-stage offshore wind projects. Building on the success of our previous modules, Pixel and Pixel Park, we have designed Pixel+ to offer a more intuitive, organised, and customisable experience. 
Pixel+ takes the best of our previous modules Pixel and Pixel Park, merging them together so that it is more intuitive, organised, and customisable than our original packages. You will be able to seamlessly move between your area screening process, to your layout design phase, to calculate the electrical cable efficiencies all in one place. 

What's new with Pixel+

We’ve also added a few brand-new features as well just to sweeten the deal, including: 

• Greater map interaction: you can edit the turbines, array cables, and other components directly on the map with greater freedom with the knowledge that every change is being fed directly into your results.

• Turbine location specific information: Our yield and LCOE calculations will consider more detailed turbine location specific information, including per turbine wind regimes from Vortex CDF as standard, without the need to introduce additional data.

• Wake runs made easy: With the click of a button, you’re now able to run multiple wake runs with different wake models and wind farm configurations, with and without neighbouring wind farms, speeding up the process of calculating wake runs significantly.

• Enhanced Navigation: We’ve re-organised menus and refreshed icons to make it easier than ever to find your way around the platform
